Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a Facilities Technician, Senior.
 
The Senior Facilities Technician performs independent skilled journey level work in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of facilities operating equipment and systems, performing related work as required. This work is completed independently, with complex problem solving required. These operating systems include but are not limited to plumbing systems, doors, windows, roofs, fire equipment, painting of interior or exterior walls, HVAC systems, pumps, fans including related motors and associated control systems.

Requirements:
Education:
High School or GED equivalent
Experience Substitutions: 2 years of building maintenance experience can substitute for two of the seven years of experience required below
OR
Successful completion of a Facilities Maintenance technical training program may substitute for 2 of the 7 years of experience required below.

Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of increasing responsibility of research and academic facilities experience. Knowledge of refrigerated systems
Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):
Experience with Metasys OR Apogee (Johnson Controls OR Siemens) Building Automation System controls
Registrations, Certifications and/or Licenses:
CFC Certification (Universal), Brazing Certification, Limited Maintenance or low voltage electrical license

Job Description & Responsibilities
Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a PM Maintenance Coordinator.
 
Works independently and in cooperation with the Facility Managers. This person is responsible for coordinating with other technical staff for reporting, scheduling, monitoring, and analyzing daily and project workloads. They coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems including computerized energy management, HVAC control and operations systems. Assures safe, reliable, accurate operation of the building environment and all systems within areas assigned.

Requirements:
Education:
3 years experience in the operation, maintenance, or repair of facilities in one or more physical plant or building services AND 1 additional year experience with responsibility for coordination of maintenance staff.

Job Related Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Competencies:
In-depth knowledge, skill and experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of refrigeration, HVAC and HVAC control systems (both pneumatic and DDC), mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing systems and components.
Journeyman-level knowledge of mechanical trades; skilled in reading and working from blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
Intermediate/Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office including Excel, data entry, email).

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a Facilities Technician, Assistant.
 
The Assistant Facilities Technician performs cross-functional and routine or semi-skilled work in facilities maintenance trades. Most tasks are of a general mechanical nature and are limited in difficulty, but may include preparatory or support work for licensed trades such as: plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. The work may be under the guidance of a skilled trades person and/or with limited independence when performing routine work and minor repairs

Requirements:
One year of facilities maintenance or trades related experience or successful completion of
a Facilities Maintenance technical training program
Experience in the operation of simple hand tools such as drills, saws, etc.
Valid Driver license with a driving record acceptable to OHSU
